Morning at the Bristers

I just love this picture. It's what goes on every morning at our house. Now that Will Major is sitting up good, Thomas just loves to play with him. He wants him to walk, also. He'll pull at his hand to walk with him. One day soon, Thomas. And then he'll be pushing him down. Notice Will Major's left foot. He takes his left sock off no matter how many times you put it back on. He's a funny baby. And Thomas is saying so many words and starting to make short sentences. It's so cute. Tonight he said "Fun on the tractor." We went on a hayride with our sunday school class and he had the best time. It just wouldn't do until he climbed up onto the tractor. They indeed are fun. I'm loving my life and my boys...all three of them.

Crappie fishing at it's best

I know this is cheesy, but Bill and I went fishing a couple of weeks ago and had the best date crappie fishing. It brought back so many childhood memories of fishing with my grandparents at Toledo Bend Reservoir. We had our minnow bucket full and the fish were jumping in the boat. I know not every woman or wife can understand how I love sharing this hobby with my hubby, but it's what we truly enjoy doing together. That is, when we can. We cannot wait to share this love with the boys. Thomas had his scooby doo rod out today saying "fishing?" Yes, son...fishing. You better know that word around this house.

Pumpkin Patch

We had such a great time at the pumpkin patch today! Me, my Mom, Grandmother, Thomas, & Will Major set out this morning to Country Pumpkins in Caledonia. The boys had a great time! Below is the slide show of pics for you to see. Thomas loved the tractor, of course, and wanted the keys to crank it up! (Thanks, Pops!) And Will Major loved the pumpkins and his first "ride" on the tractor as well. We had a picnic and met up with our friends Melanie, Emily, & Colt. I took Thomas & Emily on a tractor-pulled hayride. What great memories being made right before my eyes. I thank God for these precious boys everyday! Enjoy the pics!

They Do Love Each Other

I've been looking at this picture and just couldn't stand not to share it! It just shows how much Thomas loves his brother, Will Major. When I lay Will Major down for a nap, Thomas goes to his door saying "bra-dur?" (for brother) As if to say, where did he go? They are the light of my life, I must say. I wake up every morning, as I'm sure all moms do, and wonder- "What is my adventure going to be today?" I love every minute of it and cannot wait for more! Adventures, that is.

Lifelong Best Friends

This past weekend, I got together with 4 of my best friends from high school. We had the best time reminiscing about old times and sharing what is going on in our lives. There is nothing like old friends who know you like no other. They truly are "gold." I treasure these friendships so much and know that these girls will always be there for me through thick and thin. Thanks, girls, for being who you are and the amazing women you have become. I love you all. And to Em and Sue, we sure did miss you! And thanks, again, to Mac for always opening up the lake house to us. There are so many great memories of growing up and going to the lake. There is always one weekend in the year that I look forward to...and that's being with my girls.

Loving my Pops

Thomas spent this past weekend with his Nana and Pops while I was gone to the lake for a girls' weekend! Thomas had a great time! He just ADORES his Pops so much as you can see. They took him to the farm to ride the 3-wheeler and tractor and to see the cows! He also had fun throwing rocks in the lake. He also got to go on his first trip to the zoo! :)

Will Major spent the weekend with his Gen Gen and Grandmother in Vicksburg. He was an angel, thank goodness!

As for me, I had a great time with my high school buddies at Lake Bruin. We laughed and giggled like we were back in elementary school! What good times and good memories. I am so thankful to still have such great friends who I can pick up with like I saw them yesterday! :)

And my sweet, sweet hubby welcomed us home to a clean house and could not wait to see me and the boys! There's just no place like home! Now back to a busy week and routine! :)

My Little Budda

Will Major is my little fat man! He loves to eat! How cute are all those rolls? Love it!

Thomas loves his Elmo sprinkler!

Thomas had fun this summer at his Gen Gen's house in his Elmo sprinkler! I just love that big grin on his face! I cherish these days so much!

I'm not sure what I'm doing...

I've always loved reading my friends' blogs, but I've never tried it, so here it goes! The Bristers are doing well. Bill and I are doing great. We just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary! We have two boys- Thomas, age 19 months and Will Major, age 5 months. They are growing like weeds! I love having two boys. Who would have ever thought that we would have two boys so close in age. We are so thankful that God has blessed us with them. Bill and I talk about it everyday about how much we love these boys and are trying to raise them up in a Christian home.

Thomas is saying so many words now and starting to put them together. He's also sitting on his potty, but no production yet! He's a ham and keeps me and Bill laughing all the time. Will Major is such a big boy. That's apparently all I can produce...large Brister BOYS! He is laughing, sitting up with assistance, and sleeping fairly well now.

I am still at home with the boys and enjoying my daily adventures with them. I'm not sure if I've lost my mind, but I took a position as the Creative Activities director of MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) this year. It's actually kind of a hoot that I'm doing CRAFTS! I'm not extrememly crafty, but I'm doing it anyway! This is an awesome group of christian moms who love the Lord and lean on each other for support! We moms know we all need that!!!

I hope I can post pics and updates often. We'll see how this blogging thing goes!
